I am currently pursuing my PhD in Smart Computing at the University of Florence, with my research hosted at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy.My work centers on advancing secure and decentralized approaches for multimedia authentication, combining cutting-edge cryptographic algorithms, blockchain timestamping, and IPFS-based storage solutions. I bring hands-on expertise in C++ development, blockchain integration, IPFS, applied cryptography, and network traffic analysis.Over the past year, I have- Designed and implemented novel frameworks for enhancing the trust and integrity of multimedia data- Gained practical experience with Ethereum testnets, IPFS gateways, and cryptographic libraries- Completed advanced training through international schools and seminars, including the 5G Summer School (University of Pisa), Kalman Filtering, and Open Science & Open Access.I am passionate about bridging cryptography, distributed systems, and privacy-preserving technologies to deliver secure and scalable solutions for real-world digital challenges.

ABOUT SOHAIB SALEEM
I am a PhD candidate in Smart Computing at the University of Florence, with my research hosted at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, Italy. My work lies at the intersection of blockchain security, applied cryptography, and decentralized systems, where I focus on developing privacy-preserving and trustworthy frameworks for multimedia authentication. By integrating blockchain timestamping, BLS signatures, and IPFS-based storage, my research contributes to the advancement of secure and scalable digital infrastructures.Beyond research, I have over six years of academic teaching experience as a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Okara and Superior University.
