The Director of Advancement leads, builds, and comprehensively articulates multi-faceted campaign and project strategies including, but not limited to, major gifts. Additionally, the Director participates in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and engagement of prospects with connectivity and engagement to organization leaders and the Board. Responsible for overseeing all Advancement activities and acts as a liaison for the organization in the community and prioritizes communications regularly. Serves as the philanthropic and development expert advisor to the CEO/Executive Director, fellow senior leadership, and the Board in matters relating to organization advancement. Sits on relevant community and partner committees and takes responsibility for managing the Ability KC philanthropic and development campaigns and plans as they relate to funding and community priorities.
