Christy Tinnes is a Principal at Groom Law Group with over 25 years of experience working with large employer health and welfare plans, health insurers, and service providers on complex HIPAA and ERISA issues. She has a particular expertise in HIPAA security breaches and data analytics / marketing issues under the HIPAA privacy and security rules. Christy also advises employers, insurers, and service providers on the legal requirements for wellness programs and health benefits, including under ERISA, HIPAA, the ADA, and GINA. Christy is the Co-Chair of the firm’s Wellness Committee, which focuses on attorney and staff well-being and balance.
