ABOUT CHRISTY LOFTIN
Christy brings more than a decade of experience in event planning, corporate travel, meetings, and destination management services. She’s also headed guest services for corporate and private groups for some of the city’s most renowned inns and hotels. She was the first in SC to have earned ADMEI\'s DMCP ( Destination Management Certified Professional ) designation. While there’s no such thing as a typical day in her line of work—a fact she happily thrives upon—Christy’s proven she’s a skilled and knowledgeable go-to resource, wherever the day takes her, no matter the time. Whether a social soiree or a corporate incentive program Christy keeps it on track and moving full-steam ahead with seeming ease. She is exceptionally creative and organized, consistently managing budgets, staffing, and logistics for all sized groups. Christy believes in giving back to her community. As a 2015 Leadership Charleston graduate, she served on the Steering Committee for the 2016 Leadership Class and is involved with the Metro Chamber of Commerce Career Academy as an advisory board member. In her spare time she enjoys cycling, tennis, and sharing a few laughs with good friend over a meal. Christy is passionate about her work and the many places it takes her. She is on top of hot destinations, newest trends, custom tours, amenities, scenic venues and award winning restaurants, Christy knows them all. While her energy level is high, her personality puts guests at ease, executing events flawlessly with her distinctive brand of Southern hospitality.
