ABOUT CHRISTY HOFFMAN

I have over 15 years of experience leading full-scope data analytics projects. I\'m skilled at identifying stakeholder needs and creating data-driven solutions to meet those needs. My experience as a data scientist includes querying data from data warehouses and lakehouses (via Databricks), as well as cleaning data (R, Python), building pipelines (Python, Azure ML, Azure Logic Apps), constructing machine learning models (Python), creating visualizations and interactive dashboards (R, Python, Tableau), deploying model endpoints (via Domino and Azure ML), and collaborating with team members via git repositories. I\'m a detail-oriented leader with strong priority management skills and a proven record of rigorously investigating questions and problems using a range of research methods. As part of these projects, I have worked closely with 30+ cross-functional experts and provided strategic guidance to matrixed teams. In addition to generating insights from data and leading teams, I have served nonprofits in a variety of ways. For instance, I served as lead organizer of the 2021 International Society for Anthrozoology conference, which brought together people from over 30 countries. My work has generated actionable insights for business leaders and healthcare providers.
