SAR/DE Corporate Collateral Underwriter, 5/2015-CurrentSouthern Trust Mortgage, Virginia Beach, VA (Remote)-Underwrite/Review appraisals to FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, VHDA, portfolio, Jumbo loans to meet investor guidelines-Utilize third party sources to verify and confirm information provided in appraisal reports for validation and valuation of a property. Reconcile/address SSR\'s to FNMA Collateral Underwriter and FHLMC Loan Collateral Advisor portals as needed-Communicate requests for corrections needed with appraisers to meet investor requirements-Continue to keep up to date on lender policies, guidelines and continuing education classes for all loan and property types.(FHA, USDA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo, NC/SC/VA Housing, Portfolio loans etc)(SFR, multi family, PUD, condos, etc)-Review executed purchase contracts and title policies to ensure matches appraisal and owner of record-Maintain pipeline and meet/exceed daily deadlines. Communicate with Appraisers, LO’s, LP’s and LOA’s as needed.
