With nearly two decades of experience in a public high school setting, Christy has thoroughly enjoyed her work as a school counselor. She currently serves as the Lead School Counselor at North Oconee High School. In April 2023, Christy began a three-year term in the SACAC presidential cycle and previously co-chaired SACAC’s Member Relations Committee (20••••23). She is slated to chair SACAC\'s Governance and Nominating Committee in 2026. She currently serves on Georgia College & State University and Emory University Counselor Advisory Boards.
