About Christy Atkins
I am a scientist specializing in the fields of human/public health and environmental science, specifically ecotoxicology and its impact on the natural world. I have over 100 hours of clinical experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (AB/OB/GYN/Sm.Parts/Fetal Brain/MSK), being one of the first five students ever part of VCU’s DMS program. I also have considerable field/lab experience in both soil and water sampling with heavy metals such as hexavalent chromium and arsenic.
