Hi! I\'m Christopher Tressler, a graduate student studying computer engineering at UF. I love researching different types of technology from phones to PCs. I also place a special focus on how software and hardware work together with interests in computer architecture and embedded systems.

1. Graduate Teaching Assistant

   Uf Department Of Engineering Education

   Aug 2025 — Present

   Graduate Teaching Assistant for both courses in UF\'s Computer Engineering Design Capstone sequence. Mostly taken by senior undergraduates, students complete a two-semester project in computer engineering showing mastery of both hardware and software.I do the following- Hold weekly stakeholder meetings ensuring ~ 8 groups per semester are making satisfactory progress with their projects - Supervise the computer engineering lab for 10 hours per week making sure nobody burns down the place with a soldering iron or blows an oscilloscope up- Learn and re-develop auto-grading solutions to ensure students get timely feedback on their labs and other assignments- Always happy to give advice to students either looking for a job or who are trying to go into academia in computer engineering
