He pushes the envelope by looking at obstacles of budget, tight time frames, and site conditions as tools for decision making rather than restrictions.His exemplary work includes award-wining The Atlantis, Arizona State University Barrett & O’Connor Center, North Bethesda PEPCO Substation, minibar by José Andrés, Nobu, and Cotton & Reed.Experience includes- Building Information Modeling (BIM), coding/scripting, digital analysis & parametric modeling- Multiple LEED certified projects, including the first LEED restaurant in Washington DC (Founding Farmers: LEED Gold)- Digital & traditional fabrication experience utilizing both contemporary & conventional materials, receiving the AIA Inform Award in 2013 (minibar by Jose Andres)- Design practice at every scale from furniture & fixtures to urban master plans, including development planning with District of Columbia Office of Planning (Starburst Plaza Master Plan & Redevelopment Study)
