Assist with coordination and management of Sally Casanova Scholarship- Setup, review, and evaluation of annual application through online platform, InfoReady- Implement day long training for newly selected scholars, campus contacts, and faculty mentors- Design and maintain mobile app to communicate directly with current scholars.California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education- Assist with planning and execution of bi-annual event in Northern and Southern California- Maintain and updates online presence through website and mobile app- Develop new registration system for university recruiters using EventsAIR- Implement online variant of the conference using the OnAIR virtual conference platform- Serve as Chair of planning committee for Southern Diversity Forum- Liaise with leadership from Northern Diversity Forum.Statewide and National Conferences- Attend and distribute information for the California Pre-Doctoral Program to prospective scholars- Plan outreach and recruitment strategy to maximize effort of CSU campuses and Chancellor’s Office- Conferences include- California State University Program for Education and Research in Biotechnology (CSUPERB)- Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/as and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)- Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS)
