Alderney, GG

As Managing Director of Alderney Electricity from 01 July, I will be committed to leading the island’s transition from 100% diesel generation to a secure, sustainable, and affordable low-carbon energy system. My focus is on building a resilient, adaptable grid that integrates renewable energy sources while maintaining reliability, equitable access, and affordability for the people of Alderney. Building on the strong foundations already laid, I will champion innovative green technologies, foster community involvement, and promote a thriving, small-island renewable energy economy. In active collaboration with the States of Alderney, our community, academics, entrepreneurs and innovators, I believe AEL will ensure Alderney’s energy future is not just sustainable, but exemplifies what small island communities can achieve in the global energy transition.
