About Christopher Kurtz
My legal practice focuses on litigation matters, including business litigation, construction law, general civil litigation, and real estate litigation. I have litigation, trial, and appellate experience in Kansas and Missouri state and federal courts. I have also represented clients in arbitration and I currently serve as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. In addition to litigation, I assist clients with the drafting and negotiation of construction and real estate agreements. Prior to joining Woodworth Snow, LLC, I worked more than a decade – including the last seven years as a partner – in a large Kansas City-based law firm. Before entering private practice, I served as a law clerk to the Honorable Marco Roldan in the Jackson County Circuit Court. During law school, I volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate representing children in the Jackson County Family Court and clerked for Shamberg, Johnson & Bergman, Chtd. I live in Overland Park with my wife and two children. I volunteer at the international and regional level for Phi Gamma Delta and serve on numerous boards and with associations throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.
