About Christopher Kehde

WORKChristopher’s work reflects a strong interest in modern art and architecture balanced with a respect for traditional design values. With extensive experience in master planning, architecture, interior design, construction documentation, and project management, Christopher brings diverse, design expertise to every project. Christopher has designed and managed a wide range of project types including: fire stations; public safety training facilities; municipal building; religious facilities; office buildings; recreational facilities; mixed use residential buildings; and single family residences. EDUCATIONChristopher earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies in 1997. His education includes advanced studies in modern and classical art and architecture at the European Studies Center in Switzerland. PROFESSIONALChristopher is on the Executive Committee for AIA Northern Virginia Chapter of the and will serve as the 2025 Chapter President. Christopher is actively involved in programs that strive to generate dialogue about art and architecture in the local communities and schools. Christopher is also a graduate of the 2011 Virginia Society AIA Emerging Leaders in Architecture Honors Academy, and he has been actively involved in the ELA Steering Committee and Executive Committee in the years since. VOLUNTEERINGChristopher is a volunteer docent for the Greater Reston Arts Center’s GRACE Art program that supplements and supports arts education in local schools. Christopher is also a volunteer youth soccer coach.
