About Chris Bradt
As a psychotherapist trained in mindfulness-based counseling and transpersonal psychology, I approach my therapy work from a non-judgmental stance with an unwavering belief in the basic goodness of each individual. I believe that by compassionately and bravely addressing the fear and pain in our lives we can unlock our tremendous, innate potential for health and growth. I strive to provide a safe and supportive setting in which that potential can be realized. I am passionate about making contact on a deeper level than is typically found in social interactions, and have had success with this when working with a variety of individuals, including in my work with the Autism Society of North Carolina and in my practicum and job at Balfour Senior Living in Colorado. I have experience leading Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention groups as well as incorporating mindfulness education and interventions into my individual therapy sessions. Additionally, I have provided individual consultation sessions for clients and therapists interested in deepening into their understanding and utilization of mindfulness practices in psychotherapy.
