About Christopher Warren
I am a senior structural analysis engineer for Amazon’s Project Kuiper helping develop a satellite constellation to bring affordable internet across the globe. At Amazon, I am responsible for managing the structural analysis group for all payloads and secondary structure including the solar array. I have extensive satellite and aircraft test experience including large scale static and dynamic system testing as well as composite and exotic material allowable characterization. Prior to working at Amazon, I was a structural design and analysis engineer at Boom Supersonic and Answer Engineering developing my skills of composite and metallic structural design and optimization. I have contributed to the design and analysis of six prototype aircraft including Boom\'s XB-1, Icon\'s A5, and TSC\'s Spaceship 2. Prior to my professional career, I graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and minors in Quantitative Economics and General Applied Mathematics. I have extensive CAD modeling and structural analysis experience including Catia with CPD/CPM toolkits and FEMAP with Nastran solvers. I am an advanced programmer in Matlab and VBA and a proficient programmer in Mathcad, Mathematica, Maple, and Labview.Programming experience: Matlab, VBA, Mathcad, Mathematica, Labview, Simulink, Maple, R (GNU S), Satellite Toolkit, General Algebraic Modeling SystemCAD experience: Solidworks 20••••19, Pro Engineering Wildfire 2.0, Creo Elements/Pro, Catia V5, 3DX Catia, NXAnalysis experience: FEMAP v10-2023 with Nastran
