    Supervise a staff of 300+ Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. Monitor employee performance and provide mentoring and coaching when needed. Administer performance improvement and progressive discipline when needed. • Monitor real-time compliance with protocols and policies, investigate traffic accidents involving agency vehicles, analyze the daily schedule to adjust and maximize Unit Hour Utilization (UHU), and complete on-the-job injury (OJI) documentation.• Provide direct and indirect oversight of front-line field employees’ performance. Provide performance feedback for quarterly and annual check-ins.• Complete promotional upgrades for employees who are transiting into the Paramedic Crew Chief (PCC) or Basic Team Lead (BTL) role. Provide remedial clinical training in conjunction with the Medical Incident Review Process (MIRP). • Observe providers in the clinical setting, review patient care reports (PCR), and monitor radio traffic for scene management and hospital encodes. Direct clinical care and make operational decisions when necessary.• Provide incident management by responding to and beginning management of large-scale incidents including, but not limited to MCI’s, natural disasters, and allied agency support missions. Manage smaller scale incidents including, but not limited to traffic accidents, cardiac arrests, etc. • Act as liaison between Medic administration, other first responder agencies, and hospital staff; Resolve conflicts that may arise. Investigate complaints and enter data into the corresponding database. Provide timely enforcement of performance improvement and progressive disciplinary actions.• Achieve and maintain the highest level of professional skills and certifications through internal and external in-service training and education as required.
