As a Marriage & Family Therapy Trainee, I provide therapeutic services within a residential substance use treatment setting under licensed clinical supervision. My role includes: • Facilitating psychoeducational and process groups focused on relapse prevention, values exploration, emotional regulation, and interpersonal dynamics. • Supporting clients in recovery through individual check-ins, active listening, and evidence-based interventions tailored to treatment goals. • Documenting client progress, group notes, and treatment updates using the Kipu Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to address the systemic, relational, and cultural contexts impacting recovery.This position is part of my graduate-level clinical training toward LMFT licensure, allowing me to integrate systemic theory, recovery models, and hands-on therapeutic practice.
