About Christopher Garber
US Army veteran Christopher Garber provides risk counsel and oversight as Co-Founder and CEO of Gauze, the world\'s largest database of hospitals outside the US. Having traveled for work, charity, adventure or teaching / competitions in international Jiu-Jitsu which includes 50+ countries and all 7 continents, Garber is well aware of the physical, security, and medical risks both at home and abroad. This became particularly evident while working as Executive Producer / Director on the documentary,\"GAUZE: Unraveling Global Healthcare.\" Previous to founding Gauze, Garber competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and was the Army Corps Wrestling Champion for the United States Army based in Fort Hood, TX. He was a member of the varsity wrestling team at Kent State University in Ohio, where he earned a BS in education. Certified as an Executive Protection Specialist, Garber still takes on Executive Protection roles for very select VIPs. Garber has a keen interest in keeping people healthy, safe, and secure no matter their location or circumstance.
