As part of PwC’s Workforce Transformation consulting practice, Chris Hamilton is an experienced strategic advisor and business leader, providing trusted counsel to boards of directors and executive leadership with significant experience developing and implementing executive remuneration and total reward strategies to enable business performance and drive results.With over 30 years of experience in compensation and benefits consulting, Chris’ expertise includes total rewards assessment and design, executive and board compensation strategy, market compensation assessments, incentive design, equity program design, preparation for IPOs, merger integration/harmonization, M&A due diligence, investor engagement and disclosure support, and severance / change-in-control program design.Chris serves as the Leader of the Compensation practice and is a firmwide expert in Rewards.Recently, he served as interim Vice President of Total Rewards where he gained insights into improving and operationalizing the rewards function.Chris is an adjunct member of PwC’s Governance Insights Center (GIC) and has written numerous articles and participated in events, such as roundtables and webcasts, to help strengthen executive compensation focused corporate governance with Boards.Prior to joining PwC, Chris was a Senior Director and Market Leader of Willis Towers Watson’s Washington, D.C. Reward Practice.During his career, Chris has served as the Board-appointed executive compensation advisor across many industries with a specialized focus on aerospace, defense and government services companies, technology, retail and manufacturing companies, not-for-profit organizations, and privately held and pre-IPO companies.
