About Christopher Ernst
For more than three decades, I’ve devoted my professional life to understanding conflict and helping people resolve it - first as a trial lawyer and now as a full-time neutral. Today, I serve as a mediator, arbitrator, and professional neutral, with a national practice focused on resolving complex business, tort, employment, consumer, and securities disputes. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), a Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals (ACAN), and a Certified Mediator through the National Association of Certified Mediators (NACM).I am also recognized for deep experience in tort law. I wrote Baldwin’s Ohio Practice: Tort Law (published by Thomson Reuters/West), the only comprehensive treatise on Ohio tort law. The five-volume set takes an in-depth look at every area of tort law, with a particular focus on business torts.I hold an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and have been repeatedly recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer and by Best Lawyers.
