ABOUT CHRISTOPHER DIETRICH
Dr. Christopher Dietrich completed PA medical training at the University of Washington School of Medicine - MEDEX. In addition, Christopher has a nonclinical Doctorate of Science in Physician Assistant Studies - Healthcare Administration Track from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. During this program, most of his research was appraising ways to expand access to care with remote patient monitoring and digital therapeutics. Christopher is adjunct faculty with the University of Washington School of Medicine and teaches for South University - Richmond and Yale University School of Medicine. Christopher is a lead advocate in virtual care adoption and decreasing healthcare access disparities.Dr. Dietrich has worked in behavioral health for more than 20 years. He initially began his career as leadership with an organization managing residential homes for those with developmental disabilities in the Phoenix, Arizona, area. Dr. Dietrich has helped manage care for individuals with special needs throughout his career. He has a vested interest in helping manage the medical needs of those that are neurodivergent. During medical training, Dr. Dietrich was trained in multiple areas of Alaska: Anchorage, Dutch Harbor, Fairbanks, Nome, Sitka, and St. Michael Village. This helped shape his current role in advocacy and bridge care for the behavioral health needs of the state and expanded to advocate for the national need. Behavioral health will need transformative ways to bridge unmet needs, including virtual medicine.
