Established in 2023, Front Door Business Solutions, LLC is honored to collaborate with organizations to deliver approachable, realistic and practical risk management strategies for business operations and special event solutions. We provide intentional strategies to the needs of your specific environment, developing solutions to assist your team with risk management, event safety & logistics and training initiatives. Since 2021, I\'ve been privileged to be working with the team at the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), delivering Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) content surrounding safety and security within the sports and entertainment landscape. This experience has proved to be a tremendous opportunity to engage with fellow colleagues from around the country. This topic is always evolving which makes collaborating with other professionals so important. From to 2020, it was my honor to serve in increasingly responsible roles with the University of Connecticut Police Department. In the role of Captain, Special Events and Operations, I organized, implemented and supervised detailed operational plans for university events, including dignitary visits and major sporting events. I played key planning and supervisory roles for many of the highest visibility events and competitions involving UConn Athletics. These include Presidential and other political figure visits, dignitary visits, major entertainer concerts, NCAA playoff events, a variety of NCAA Bowl games and Big East Tournaments. I have experience with large scale events and venues nationwide. I created and successfully led event command structures of up to 100 professionals. I have collaborated with venue managers and law enforcement professionals at major venues nationwide. I planned and led security operations for UConn Football team from 2004 until 2017 at all home and away competitions.I earned my master’s degree in Organizational Management, and I have significant additional training in Sports and Special Events Incident Management. I have strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to engage with all segments of the community and government in a collaborative manner. I have a deep understanding of the importance of building strong relationships with the community, staff, nearby communities and all other stakeholders.

   National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security (NCS4)- ‘Sport and Special Event Risk Management’ (AWR-167) – Deliver Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sponsored curriculum to a variety of constituents in the special events, sports and entertainment industry surrounding emergency management, safety & security principles. Attendees include local/state/federal government agencies, stadium/venue managers, college/university athletic departments, school districts and a variety of public safety officials that plan and support these events.
