Christopher Wilson, Ed.S, M.S, Ed.D.(c), is an educator and public service professional whose career bridges education, equity leadership, and government service. He currently serves as a Substitute Teacher with Edustaff, supporting schools across rural Marion County by providing instructional continuity and fostering inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments. With more than 25 years of teaching and leadership experience, Christopher continues to inspire students while advancing his broader mission of equity in both education and public policy.Christopher previously served as the Program Manager for the Office of Procurement Equity in Oregon. In that role, he led implementation of Executive Order 22-15 and advanced the findings of the 2023 Oregon Disparity Study, working to ensure that small, minority-owned, and underrepresented businesses had meaningful access to state contracting opportunities. His leadership included coordinating statewide outreach, aligning policy with data-driven equity goals, and engaging agencies and community stakeholders to deliver measurable impact.His professional background also includes extensive academic leadership. He was Program Chair for the School of Health Services Administration at the University of Phoenix (Phoenix Campus) and later Chair of the UOPX Oregon Campus, overseeing faculty performance and academic programming across multiple colleges. His teaching portfolio spans healthcare leadership, graduate-level leadership studies, human resources, philosophy, and general education. Earlier in his career, he taught Advanced Placement Statistics and Physics at KIPP St. Louis High School, where he inspired students to see mathematics and science as gateways to opportunity.Across every role, Christopher has been guided by a consistent commitment: systems must be equitable to be effective. Whether shaping policy in state government, leading academic programs, or managing a classroom, his work is grounded in service, inclusion, and integrity.
