ABOUT CHRISTOPHER WILLIAMS

Associate Vice President and Practice Leader of Data Center Valuation at CBRE Canada. I specialize in the appraisal of all types of data centers, including powered land, powered shell, turnkey, digital currency facilities and carrier hotels across Canada. My Canadian experience also includes the appraisal of automotive, industrial, industrial development land and outdoor storage land across Ontario. Prior to transferring internally from CBRE in the UK to Canada, I worked as a Senior Valuation Surveyor in the International Valuation team. I specialized in Data Centre Valuation and provided valuation advice across the UK, Europe and to global lenders, investors, owner-occupiers and operators. Before joining CBRE, I specialized in investment and development valuations at Lambert Smith Hampton, covering all traditional uses and several emerging asset types, predominantly for mortgage financing, brokerage and financial reporting purposes. Throughout my training contract I also gained a wide range of experience including investment & leasing brokerage, asset management, development consultancy and rent review & lease renewal negotiations.During my previous role as an Account Manager at NTT Ltd, a global IT sales company, I gained experience in procuring and implementing network infrastructure requirements for clients opening new offices and modernizing existing workplaces. I developed a strong interest in property and consequently transferred my skillset into the sector via a Master’s Degree in Real Estate in 2016.
