Lead team of 12 Direct Factory Buyers based in Bangalore, India that support 6 manufacturing sites around the world through the tactical execution and maintenance of PO placement with the combined role of Senior Buyer, responsible for various high dollar purchases for sites around the world. Lead the project team that was tasked with the Honeywell Functional Transformation Initiative that splits the Buyer/Planner into two separate positions from development to implementation.Developed and documented Standard Work and Process Steps for newly created Direct Buyer position applying HOS principles.Trained and developed the 12 team members from Honeywell-India via on-line and on-site training.Implemented and drove results for new aggressive Buyer metrics; to include PO placement from Requisition and PO maintenance as well as DMR turnaround time.Took the lead to help Buyer/Planner group prior to split to significantly reduce DMR & Invoice Hold backlogs.Involved in strategic negotiations for supply base under $100K and drove a successful project to increase terms for those suppliers not at the Honeywell standard of N75 days.As team lead maintained buyer cohesion and continuous buyer metric improvement throughout manager transitions.
