Christopher is part of a team of nonproliferation experts at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has over 17 years of experience supporting industry and government on export control and supply chain security matters.Christopher previously worked as a lead intelligence analyst for BSI. In that capacity, he developedsupply chain risk assessments for the consumption of corporate clients, conducted collection andanalysis of proprietary supply chain security data, and monitored supply chain security issues inAsia. He created and edited content for an online supply chain risk tool and ensured the accuracy ofassessments pertaining to Asia. He also managed, recruited, and trained multiple cohorts of internsfor the supply chain security program.Prior to BSI, Christopher worked for nearly fifteen years as a Research Associate with the Center forInternational Trade and Security at the University of Georgia (CITS / UGA). Through that position,Christopher has experience in strategic trade management and export control including providinghands-on training to senior and mid-level government officials from over 70 countries, assessingnational systems, writing reports and policy briefs on emerging trends, designing curricula anddeveloping course materials, and conducting outreach to industry professionals worldwide.Christopher was the Managing Editor of the 1540 Compass, a magazine published jointly with theUnited Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs and currently is on the Editorial Board of StrategicTrade Review, a journal dedicated to issues concerning strategic trade management.
