ABOUT CHRISTOPHER STOUT

As a Corporate Development & Partnerships executive at Wreaths Across America, I leverage my extensive experience and skills in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, strategic planning, and communication to advance the mission of honoring and remembering our fallen heroes. With over 10 years of combined experience in development roles at Veterans Community Project, Wounded Warrior Project, RPOR and Hesperus, multiple prominent nonprofit organizations that serve veterans, combat human trafficking and support its survivors, I have a proven track record of delivering unprecedented revenue growth, building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, and designing impactful engagement programs and campaigns.My passion for community involvement and social justice has driven me to pursue and achieve various honors and certifications, such as being recognized as a CNN Hero in 2018 for my role as the founder of Veterans Community Project, a grassroots initiative that provides transitional housing and services to homeless veterans. I am also a registered Maine guide, certified by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, which reflects my love for nature and adventure. I am an articulate communicator and a public speaker, who enjoys sharing my insights and stories with various audiences, from local citizens and government officials to national media outlets and corporate sponsors. I am a resourceful leader, a mentor, and a problem solver, who is always eager to learn, grow, and collaborate with others.
