Smith System Driver Trainer, Class A CDL permit holder, detailed oriented Manager with leadership, communication, and team building skills. Over thirteen years of hands on automotive, fleet, and equipment repair, safety experience, and operations management. Safety initiative projects include driver management for 9,200 non regulated drivers, vehicle markings and lighting for higher visibility, in cab camera systems, and driver scorecards. I am currently working to integrate my third fleet with another company through acquisitions. As Program Administrator for DOT compliance, I have successfully led my current company through and passed an FMCSA DOT Audit, developed and implemented a fleet safety program, transitioned the company from intrastate to interstate commerce which consisted of moving from 50+ drivers and 45 power units to 350+ drivers and 275 power units and trailers. I oversee all driver qualification files, alcohol and drug program for CDL drivers, fleet safety program, DOT recordable accident files, hours of service, vehicle files and any other compliance related areas.
