About Chris Slater
My Mission:My mission is to make a tremendous impact on my community, the people I know, and the people I’ve yet to meet by helping them reach their personal and professional goals, and by putting service above myself for those in need.Who I Am:I grew up in Racine and went to Washington Park High School. After graduation, I joined the Marine Corps and landed at 2D ANGLICO where I served a little over four years and eventually got out as a Sergeant (E-5). I then enrolled at University of Kansas to study Business. After two years, I transferred back to SE Wisconsin where I owned and operated a small business, Warrior’s Touch Painting LLC, and finished my bachelor’s degree at UW Parkside in Business Management. After graduation, I started my career with Northwestern Mutual. I currently live in Racine with my wife Lauren, our two dogs (Ares and Maia), and our cat Vinny. I’m very passionate about what I do and enjoy spending much of my spare time giving back to my community. I am a Board Member of the Racine Founder’s Rotary Club and I participate in many other activities around the area. I pride myself in being straight forward, genuine, and driven.
