Having Commissioned from Sandhurst I first attended the Young Officers Course in Larkhill in order to gain the experience within the Artillery to lead specialised soldiers. Having been selected to join 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery I went on to the Close Support Course in order to best utilise the Army\'s L118 Light Gun and AS-90 platforms to support the British Army and Royal Navy\'s Combat Arms. Upon completing the 14-week course I was awarded the Sword for best overall student.
