Develop and implement diversity programs and initiatives to meet goals outlined in the organization’s strategic plan including educational and learning experiences focused on bias, microaggressions, intercultural communication, conflict management, inclusive leadership, equitable facilitation, and other cultural awareness trainings focused on specific patient communities. Facilitate diversity, equity, and inclusion trainings and educational sessions in a variety of formats including presentation, lecture, culture shaping retreats, listening sessions, group discussion, and simulations to executive and senior leadership and hospital departments. Develop and collect data to identify areas of success and areas of potential growth through surveys and focus groups as well as create metrics to track DEI outcomes and initiatives. Represent office and hospital on DEI initiatives and projects in a variety of internal and external meetings and forums.
