As the Head of Supplier Quality – Warranty & Cost Recovery, my main responsibilities are: Lead AD global Supplier Quality strategy, warranty governance, and cost‑recovery performance across global automotive and manufacturing supply chains. Drive end‑to‑end supplier warranty management, from failure analysis and root‑cause validation to corrective action verification and long‑term prevention. Strengthen supplier accountability by linking warranty issues directly to PFMEA, Control Plans, process audits, and systemic risk controls. Recover costs associated with defects, scrap, rework, field returns, and customer claims through structured negotiation and evidence‑based justification. Lead cross‑functional teams through disciplined 8D, A3, Red X, DMAIC, and containment processes to ensure rapid response and sustainable corrective actions. Use data‑driven insights, trend analysis, and supplier scorecards to identify chronic issues, escalate risks, and drive targeted improvement plans. Improve supplier performance through capability‑driven development, coaching, and governance aligned with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. Build robust quality systems that protect the customer, protect the business, and embed right‑first‑time culture across the supply base. Deliver measurable reductions in warranty failures, repeat defects, and cost of poor quality through structured problem‑solving and process discipline. Provide strong leadership, clear communication, and a strategic approach to quality, risk, and supplier performance improvement.
