ABOUT CHRISTOPHER SCHMIDL

My passion lies in developing and executing impactful corporate strategies, especially through M&A, to drive business growth. As a professional in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Corporate Development, I bring over eight years of expertise in steering strategic initiatives and fostering growth for organizations. In my current role, I serve as a Operations Projectmanager for our portfolio companies at QVM Privatkapital. In my previous roles, I worked as a Head of M&A, where I was responsible in driving the company\'s anorganic and organic growth initiatives and as a Corporate Finance Consultant, where I advised national and international clients in M&A transactions and financing projects (transaction services, valuation, and restructuring). I hold a Master of Science in Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, specializing in Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Strategy and I earned an LL.M. in Mergers & Acquisitions from JurGrad | Universität Münster, equipped with advanced skills in SPA negotiations, corporate law, and due diligence. In addition to my professional career, I am an active Board member of the Junger Wirtschaftsrat NRW. The Junger Wirtschaftsrat is a leading platform fostering dialogue between young entrepreneurs and political leaders, addressing critical economic and societal issues. Serving as both a think tank and a creative hub, we articulate and communicate solutions on topics such as fiscal responsibility, sustainable growth, business-friendly policies, digital innovation, energy policies, and the promotion of entrepreneurial culture in Germany.
