About Christopher Schlenger
I am a Doctor of Chiropractic, entrepreneur, and founder of Verdure Imaging, Inc, focused on rethinking how the spine is visualized, measured, and understood using real-time, radiation-free imaging.My work sits at the intersection of clinical care, medical imaging, and applied AI. After years in clinical practice, I became increasingly focused on a fundamental limitation in spine care: most clinical decisions are still guided by static imaging of a structure that is dynamic, load-dependent, and constantly changing.That insight led to the development of SpineUs™, an FDA 510(k)-cleared imaging system that combines tracked ultrasound, real-time 3D reconstruction, and machine learning to enable repeatable, radiation-free assessment of spinal alignment. The emphasis is not visualization for its own sake, but objective insight into anatomy, alignment, and change over time.I work closely with clinicians, researchers, and academic centers to evaluate clinical applications, understand limitations, and translate research into practical imaging tools. Much of this work has involved collaboration across engineering, surgery, and clinical research environments.Today, my focus is on advancing Verdure Imaging thoughtfully through clinical evaluation, research collaboration, and selective strategic engagement. I am particularly interested in how real-time spinal visualization may complement future workflows across spine care without increasing patient burden.I welcome conversations with clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders who are thinking carefully about how spine imaging and assessment should evolve.
