Office of the Fire Marshal - Technical Services. Overseeing the fire protection engineering plans review branch and the acceptance testing and inspection branch. In the office, two reviews are being conducted. The building plans are being reviewed for life safe components and then the fire protection systems are being evaluated and approved to meet building code, statewide fire code, national and local standards. This is a coordinated effort done in conjunction with the county’s Land Development Services. With approved plans, our acceptance testing team inspects and tests these fire protection systems in preparation of occupancy and use.
