   Here, I serve as a key contributing member of the executive leadership team overseeing finance, administration, IT, HR, payroll, and procurement for the highly respected grassroots network dedicated to fighting Parkinson’s Disease (PD) with support, education, and research. I provide strategic consultation to the President/CEO and executives on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and investments. I also oversee, direct, and manage productivity of the HR, Payroll, and Accounting Manager as well as the Controller. Consider a few of my highlighted achievements: Provide assertive leadership while also acting as a key liaison and point-of-contact to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee while communicating pressing financial requirements and objectives to ensure adherence to the strategy, vision, and leadership of APDA. Ensure seamless operations and organizational effectiveness by developing and deploying new policies, accounting standards, and procedures while planning and executing the multimillion-dollar budget. Identify areas in need of process improvements while assessing administrative, operations, and accounting services including, but not limited to treasury management, grant payment processing, payroll, AP, and purchasing. Ensure compliance with grant program budgets while managing financial program grants, including those that fund the National Research Program, Centers for Advanced Research, and Chapters and Information & Referral Centers. Execute all auditing procedures and analyze financial data and financial reports. Inform senior management on progress.
