   Responsible for the Neurosurgery Spine Service Line for Northwell Health. Responsibilities:\\\\n-Oversee operation of a Neurosurgery Spine outpatient, inpatient, and critical care units in the greater New York area, including New York City, Westchester County, and Long Island\\\\n-Oversees the development and ongoing operations of Neurosurgery and Spine services at Northwell Health\\\\n-Integrates system wide services, including programmatic efficiencies, coordination of intra-hospital transfer program, development of support system for referrals and assessment and recommendations regarding staffing, equipment purchases and services\\\\n-In collaboration with system and hospital leadership, develops strategic plans providing direction for Neurosurgery Spine Service Line\\\\n-Plans strategic goals to be achieved including new services, marketing strategy, physician referral relationships, patient satisfaction targets, patient education and measures to achieve total quality improvements\\\\n-Leads development of system wide specific strategic plans including market assessment, program expansion, system planning, project development, and implementation plans\\\\n-Develops strategies and participates in contract negotiations for neurosurgery spine medical supplies\\\\n-Oversees neurosurgery capital equipment strategies, including inventory of equipment, purchasing opportunities and re-allocation of equipment within the system\\\\n-Participates in and supports quality assurance activities as defined by affiliation agreements required by the NY State DOH\\\\n-Assists in the development and promotion of patient, staff and community educational initiatives\\\\n-Provides leadership and direction to the management team of the Neurosurgery Spine Service Line\\\\n-Develops and supports operational management of programs, staff development and training\\\\n-Mentors and develops directors and managers\\\\n-Provides expertise in attaining programmatic excellence interfaces with hospital Neurosurgery Spine Leadership\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
