   This position manages the day-to-day operations of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and directs and supervises its operations including but not limited to: urban planning, budgeting, capital acquisitions, business attraction, public relations, real estate negotiations, community relations, professional service contracts management and capital planning. Performs complex community redevelopment activities, implements, and manages various community programs within the CRA Districts. The position reports to the CRA board and will work closely with CRA board members and City staff, in connection with new or contemplated capital improvements and long-range plans. It is responsible for facilitating, monitoring and ensuring that all projects are implemented in accordance with the goals of the CRA and City. The duties also include negotiating contracts, developing incentives, recruiting compatible development activity and supervising consultants. The incumbent serves as the City’s liaison to any CRA Consulting Firms as well as various partner agencies, community leaders, business and property owners.
