The mission of the Southern California Pediatric Disaster Coalition (SCPDC) is to advance Southern California’s preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery for infants, children, and their families in disasters through sharing best practices, efficient and collaborative resource sharing and communication. The SCPDC uses national best practice and standards from the National Pediatric Disaster Coalition, American Academy of Pediatrics and other nationally recognized pediatric disaster experts to model and develop resources specific to promoting best outcomes for the children of Southern California in disasters.
