About Christopher Vargas

My career experience and skills revolve around my childhood interest of building. I strongly believe that the process of building can be related to several aspects of life. In my own example, this would include both my academic career as well as the career path I have chosen. I understand that one should have the proper foundation when it comes to growth, and this is an analogy that I have learned to apply to day to my day to day activities like school work, working out, or even learning to build meaningful relationships.With a strong foundation one is able to build forward. I believe that you must always focus on making sure you master the basics before you begin to tackle the technical tasks. During the development of a process of a building, the grounds and soils must be ready for the concrete and foundation work that will be the sustainability of what is to come; the building. When dealing with this division of the construction process, one must be careful and precise.Relating this example to my life, my major being Construction Management demands me to have a proper understanding of detail and specifications which is an advantage for me knowing that I am very detailed oriented. It is important for me understand tasks and what is expected of me before I begin to exceed these expectations. When it comes to group projects I am always the member who is checking off the rubric and maintaining the groups expectations at an exceptional standard.
