ABOUT CHRISTOPHER MADDOCK

I am passionate about bridging the gap between education and industry. I specialise in business engagement, careers education, and strategic partnerships to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals. With a strong background in employer engagement, relationship management, and project leadership, I aim to develop impactful STEM outreach programs that foster skills development and social mobility.In my current role as a Business Engagement Manager, I work with industry partners to support their early careers programme through high impact and consistent employee volunteering through the STEM Ambassador programme, design and implement bespoke STEM education initiatives, and create meaningful opportunities for businesses to engage with young people. I aim to lead employer networks, negotiate strategic partnerships, and provide consulting services to organisations looking to make a lasting impact in the education sector.Previously, I served as Deputy Hub Lead for the Lancashire Career Hub, affiliated with The Careers & Enterprise Company, where I connected schools, colleges, and employers to enhance careers and enterprise provision.
