As cofounder of SEDS at UC Irvine I wish to create a space within the academic community where students with STEM interest can gain hands-on experience as well as prepare for their future careers and global opportunities for conferences and projects while promoting an interest in space exploration and development. Also provide project opportunities at a lower risk environment. Our team strives to promote interdisciplinary approaches to the projects and research included in the new space industry. We want to show that the modern space field does not include only aerospace engineering but also various STEM fields. Overall, we would like to bring an inviting and inclusive SEDS chapter to UC Irvine for students of all levels.
