ABOUT CHRISTOPHER PIEKARSKI
I take particular pride in what I have managed to achieve professionally in my 10 years in DMPK. I have been able to build my own DMPK department at a small biopharma to support the chemistry and biology in multiple projects for both fibrosis and oncology targets. This has been a particularly enjoyable challenge for the last few years as it has pushed me to apply the knowledge base built over the first years of my career in order to drive decision making on projects through discovery lead opt and prelinical. I currently lead a team of 8 DMPK scientists running early screening assay in house and manage the outsourcing of in vivo and later stage assay externally. As the lead DMPK on projects I have experience in data interpretation, dose selection for PK efficacy and toxicology studies aswell as hands on experience in preparing protocols and documentation for IND/CTA submissions.
