My name is Chris Philibin and I’m a Division I student-athlete at Duquesne University, majoring in Finance with a minor in Financial Planning and a GPA of 3.85. Balancing academics and athletics has taught me the value of discipline, time management, and teamwork skills that I bring into everything I do.I have a strong passion for finance, with a particular interest in wealth management and financial planning, with helping individuals and businesses make smart, short and long-term financial decisions. As a Student-Athlete Mentor, I provide one-on-one mentorship to young and upcoming student athletes. I help these individuals to overcome challenges they may face on or off the field. Through weekly or biweekly meetings, I serve as a trusted role model to offer guidance and individual strategies based on my own experiences as a Division 1 athlete. Through this role, I aim to help my mentees to stay focused on their goals and build up skills to achieve success in their sport and in life.
