Hi, I’m Christopher Pham, a motivated and detail-driven GRC professional with a growing background in cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance. I’m passionate about helping organizations build secure, ethical, and resilient systems that meet today’s evolving digital and regulatory challenges.Through my hands-on training at Symposia, I’ve gained experience with key security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and HIPAA. I’ve conducted risk assessments, contributed to control mapping, and helped develop policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards. This work has shown me the importance of proactive compliance in maintaining operational and reputational integrity.As a GRC Analyst in training, I’ve contributed to internal compliance initiatives, reviewed third-party risks, and worked through audit readiness scenarios to help ensure organizations are well-prepared for regulatory scrutiny.One area I’m especially passionate about is third-party risk. I’ve assisted in evaluating vendor security practices and supported the creation of structured questionnaires to ensure companies are working with secure and compliant partners.Whether I’m preparing documentation for an audit, reviewing vendor risks, or assisting with the implementation of policies, I take a risk-based and solution-focused approach to every task. I’m excited to bring this mindset to a GRC or cybersecurity team where I can grow, contribute, and help build stronger security from the ground up.
