About Christopher Panko
I am a Davidson College graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. At Davidson College, I was a member of the Division 1 football program and held positions as Men\'s Basketball Defensive Analyst and Football Scouting Chair for Cats Stats, developing my skills in data analytics while supporting other Davidson athletes and coaches. My job was to utilize statistics to analyze defensive strategies for the men’s basketball team. I also lead a team of five to provide the football team with data relating to opponent’s receiving tendencies. Cats Stats allowed me to apply my major of mathematics to my passion for sports and the athletic program at Davidson College. I am currently a Financial Analyst at Flow Control Group. My job is to assist the IFC Finance team in creating quarterly and monthly reports, improving our data warehouse, and consolidating and implementing our new financial reporting system. I have certifications in both Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and consider myself to be proficient in these two programs.
