Most recently, served as the project lead for the Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative within the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responsible for overseeing suspicious activity awareness training, quality control, intelligence oversight governance compliance, and policy/programmatic standards for nearly 1.5 million first responders. From 20••••18, served in Vermont and New Jersey as the Senior Intelligence Representative for the DHS Chief Intelligence Officer. In addition, during this tenure, worked at the United States National Counterterrorism Center as a Senior Intelligence Analyst & Briefer and National Security Agency Coast Guard Cryptologic Group. Provided intelligence operational support for multiple National Special Security Events, natural disasters, and terrorism events. Cultivated a network of information and intelligence consumers between Federal, State, Local, and Private entities supporting intelligence requirements.From 2003 to 2015, served as a Commissioned Officer in The United States Coast Guard. Dedicated 8 years on active duty as a Maritime Safety and Security Team Law Enforcement training and Federal Boarding officer completing over National Security Boardings and participating in Port Security Operations such as responses to Hurricane Katrina, The United Nations General Assembly, the G8 Summit, and intelligence-led force protection operations at the Port of New York and New Jersey. Also spent 3 years as a liaison to Port Security Directors, Federal Port Security operators, New Jersey State Police, and the New York Police Department. Reserve duty for saw development in intelligence planning and continuity expertise as he evaluated operational efficacy following the events of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in 2010.
