ABOUT CHRISTOPHER K. NABETA
Originally from Uganda and Ivory Coast, I am perfectly bilingual (verbal and written) in English and French; in addition to being proficient in Spanish (Spain).After a stint in the legal and banking fields, I started my career in automotive at Hyundai Auto Canada where I grew my career from entry level to senior leadership. I made a two-year career decision to join the automotive retail world by leading the sales operations at a couple of prominent dealer groups in order to better grasp the challenges on the other side of the business. In September 2020 I rejoined the corporate world at Volvo Canada, where I led their Commercial Sales operations for three years. I have now expanded my breadth to automotive finance, as I build and lead TD Auto Finance\'s National OEM Sales and Strategy division.I am also a board member at the Empire Club of Canada, a founding member as well as the Chair of Accelerate Auto\'s Board of Directors. I also advise the board of directors of the ICTC\'s EV Strategy and Workforce Development and serve as a dorector of the Sonia Nabeta Foundation.
