As a Research Assistant for Dr. Samuele Zilioli’s lab, I contributed to a study examining the social, psychological, and genetic factors influencing gene expression, physical health, and well-being among youth with asthma, their asymptomatic siblings, and primary caregivers. My primary responsibilities included conducting home visits to administer questionnaires, collecting physiological data such as blood pressure and blood spot samples, and accurately entering data into the research database.Through this role, I developed strong communication and time management skills, coordinating regularly with my supervisor and managing variable schedules that included evenings and weekends. I also enhanced my attention to detail while working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.I committed over 8 hours per week from Fall 2024 to Summer 2025, contributing to the success of the lab\'s research efforts and upholding high standards of accuracy and conscientiousness in all tasks.
